I focus on the single, strong image to tell something about myself and my subjects. I can show a selection of images, as you can find on this site, on a theme, but I prefer to say something with a single image. I prefer not to plan anything around my way of experiencing photography. The unexpected is what I look for, but as a consequence of the pleasure of seeing and shooting with my camera. For me it is a therapy and I really need it every day; a strange relationship with the world. I feel my self present and absent at the same time, a ‘distance’ from the world that makes me happy. My favourite photos are born from this need.
